Sanctioned Events For Winterfest 2011

Alpine Skiing
Singles - Men's and Women's
Age Categories: 55+, 65+, 75+
Badminton
Doubles - Men's, Women's & Mixed
Age Categories: 55+, 65+
Curling
Ages: 55+
Mixed Team - Each rink MUST be comprised of two (2) men and two (2) women.
Duplicate Bridge
Ages: 55+
Open pairs:
Four (4) Person Team:
One (1) East/West pair and one (1) North/South pair
Ice Hockey
Two (2) Divisions:
Open Team - 55+ - 18 team members (1 coach/15 skaters/2goalies)
Open Team - 65+ - 18 team members (1 coach/15 skaters/2goalies)
Nordic Skiing
Two (2) Divisions:
Prediction has 2 participants
Short Track has 4 participants
Men's & Women's Prediction competition (Ages 55+)
Five (5) kilometer (5000 metre) Prediction Ski.
Open Team: The “OPEN TEAM” is for the combining of points in the “PREDICTION” Division. The points accumulated from the “PREDICTION” portion, from 3 skiers, are added together to form the “OPEN TEAM”. The team with the best score wins a gold medal.

55+, 65+, 75+
Five (5) kilometer (5000 metre)
Skating
Two (2) Divisions:
Men's and Women's 55+ Prediction competition.
Three (3) kilometer (3000 metre) Prediction Skate in continuous ovals.
Men's and Women's Short Track Speed competition.
55+, 65+ age categories
Five hundred metres (500 metre) Short Track Speed Skate.
Table Tennis
2 participants per age category
Men and Women's Doubles, Mixed Doubles
55+, 65+:
Ten Pin Bowling
Two (2) Divisions:
Open Team (4) - Pins Over Average - 55+
Singles - Pins Over Average - Men 55+ (1 participant), Women 55+ (1 participant)
Volleyball
Men's, Women's (10 per team)
& Co-Ed Teams (5 men, 5 women)
